About Us

St Margaret's Hospice is your local charity committed to providing specialist palliative care, advice, support and respite for patients and their families living in Somerset and parts of neighbouring counties. Our care is available for those who have a terminal or life-limiting illness, for example cancer, motor neurone disease and chronic lung disease.

Through our medical expertise, nursing skills and specialist support services, we offer physical, emotional, social and spiritual care to our patients and their families. Bereavement support is also available.

Our services are also available to patients where our specialist knowledge, skills and expertise will provide relief for their specific illness, such as symptom control, breathlessness management, lymphoedema treatment, physiotherapy and occupational and complementary therapies.

In order to raise money for St Margaret's Hospice you can choose one of these payment schemes.

Jump for Free

  1. The minimum amount St Margaret's Hospice requires you to raise, in order to pay for your skydive using a portion of your sponsorship is £395.
  2. £50 non-refundable deposit required when you book your jump.
  3. A minimum of £145 goes to St Margaret's Hospice.
  4. If you are raising all sponsorship online, you are required to bring on the day a copy of your online sponsorship page showing a minimum of £345 and we will invoice St Margaret's Hospice for the jump.
  5. If you are raising all sponsorship offline, you are required to bring on the day a personal cheque made payable to St Margaret's Hospice for a minimum of £145; £200 jump balance (by cash or card taken from sponsor money) and the sponsorship forms.
  6. If you are raising sponsorship using a combination of online and offline we suggest you raise a minimum of £145 online and the outstanding jump balance of £200 offline (on the day you need to bring in the £200 jump balance by cash or card).
  7. You cannot include Gift Aid as part of the minimum amount you need to raise.
  8. St Margaret's Hospice allows you to raise sponsorship on Skydive Buzz Ltd in-house online sponsorship facility Raise 'n' Jump.

Self Fund

  1. You can choose any of our different priced jumps, including promotional offers. This must be paid out of your own money. No sponsorship money can be used to pay for this jump.
  2. All sponsorship money you raise will go to the charity (there is no minimum required with this scheme). You send this directly to St Margaret's Hospice.
  3. £50 non-refundable deposit required when you book a 15,000ft skydive. Other packages and promotional offers require payment in full.
  4. The outstanding balance is payable to Skydive Buzz Ltd on the day of jump (by cash or card) if applicable.
  5. St Margaret's Hospice allows you to raise sponsorship on Skydive Buzz Ltd in-house online sponsorship facility Raise 'n' Jump.
