Canopy course with Jack Bradford for all levels
Perfecting Your Landing Technique & Understanding and Utilising Equipment
2 part canopy course for all experience levels including 5 jumps.
Part A - Perfecting Your Landing Technique
Do you struggle to land consistently on your feet, or do you struggle to deal with those “crosswind gusts” just as you come to flare? Are you as comfortable landing in nil winds or downwind as you are landing into a moderate headwind? Starting by defining what we mean by a good landing, we look at the following topics with video debriefs of up to 5 jumps to work on technique:
-2 stage flare - the real definition
-Common landing problems
-Landing in different conditions
-The “cross-wind gust”
-The PLF
-Rear riser landings
Part B - Understanding and Utilising Equipment
Do you make the most of your equipment under canopy, and have you even got the right equipment for the job? We take a look at various pieces of kit that can help or hinder us under canopy and how to use them safely. Topics include:
-AADs & activation parameters
-Container features & riser mods
-Sliders
-Canopy customisations and condition
-Post deployment admin
